2023 Annual Golf Tournament

The 2023 annual Golf Tournament was held on Saturday, September 23rd, and it was a great success! Despite a weeklong forecast of rain and inclement weather, the golf gods smiled upon us as little to no rain fell until the tournament was complete! A huge THANKS goes out to our major sponsors, Highland Park Market, Trinks Brothers OIL, and Manchester Police Officers Association!

We had over 100 golfers tee off at 1pm after lunch that was sponsored by A&A Pest Control and Recon-CT. We completed the round at about 5:30pm, and then headed back to the Lodge for our prime rib dinner! Thanks to our chef, Bob Magnotta and his crew, Jan Magnotta, Carly Magnotta, Chris Terry, Diane Terry, and Don Palmberg. Gerry and Kathy Gallo, Denise Viellette, as well as Cindy Young handled the serving responsibilities, so everyone got their meals in no time. The meal was perfect, as always, and received compliments all around!

This tournament could not have occurred without the effort of a lot of volunteers. Jessica Bober and Rebekah Sena were our raffle ‘Specialists’. Our raffle was enhanced by the generosity of many individuals. Andrew Dean covered the entire course, taking photos and photos and photos! Manning the registration duties were Judy McCauly, Deb Farr, Barb Hanson, and Cindy Young. The oncourse volunteers coordinating games and beverages were Linda Damon, Lisa Larose, Barb Hanson, Rick Berthiaume, and Judy McCauly. All of our volunteers provided valuable support required to run our tournament. Thanks to all those who volunteered, donated, and participated in this year’s tournament! You are the ones responsible for its success!!
