Red, White and Blue Dinner RECAP

On November 17, our Lodge Officers and Members and Emblem Club 251 hosted the veterans service organizations of the Manchester Area for a dinner and Veterans Remembrance. The organizations in attendance were DAV Chapters 12 & 17, VFW Chapter 2046, Manchester Army / Navy Club, American Legion Post #102, Town of Manchester Veterans Advisory Committee & Manchester Veterans Coffee House.

After a brief opening ceremony with Exalted Ruler Chris Terry welcoming our guests, Dr. Jason Scappaticci gave a speech about 3 unlikely Metal of Honor recipients. Thanks to Jason for such a moving and appropriate topic.

After the turkey dinner Dennis Nevin sang our National Anthem. Veterans Advisory Committee Chairman James Armaro spoke about the committee and the Manchester Veterans Coffee House. Then there was the Folds of the Flag and POW/ MIA ceremony. Thanks to Paul Scappaticci and Mike Damico for the POW/MIA Ceremony, Clay Hence, John Bowers and Paul Scappaticci for the Folds of the Flag, the forementioned Dr. Scappaticci, James Armano and Dennis Nevin, the servers Cindy Young, PER, Carly Magnotta, Lisa Larose and Kathy Gallo, kitchen crew Kory Marvasti, Randy Dumond, Chris Terry, ER, Phil Stender, SVP, PDD, Pete Nelson, PDD, Brenda Williams and Tom Waldo, decorating team of Lynn Sottile, Bill Graugard and Kathy Gallo, and table set up Tom and Chris Terry, ER, PER and Dean Gates.

A special thanks to Emblem Club #251 for two beautiful sheet cakes. We look forward to hosting our veterans on December 7. Please pray for the young men and women in harms way all around the world defending this Great Nation.
