Special Olympics Volleyball Recap

The Special Olympics Volleyball Tournament was held on Saturday November 18th at Hamden Hall in Hamden CT.

There were 14 teams playing on 3 courts, and a great day was had by all the athletes, partners and volunteers. It was another fantastic turnout by the Elks and we were able to show our commitment to the Special Olympics by having so many Elk volunteers at the event.

We had 12 Manchester 1893 volunteers, the most of any lodge represented at the tournament! That allowed our Lodge to run one of the three courts and help out on the two others by providing line judges, ball retrievers, a scorekeeper and timekeeper.
